Pope Benedict XVI is an outstanding theologian and he constantly keeps before our eyes the major issues of our time. In his World Day of Peace Message, January 2012, he addressed the urgency of educating young people in justice and peace. “We need witnesses” he wrote, “capable of seeing farther than others because their life is so much broader. A witness is someone who first lives the life he proposes to others. “

Fitzgerald (Knocknasna and Cedarville, Abbeyfeale, Co. Limerick and formerly of Kilburn, London)-May 7th. 2012, at Milford Care Centre, Christopher (Christy) Healy; deeply regretted by his wife Kitty, daughters, relatives and friends. R.I.P. Reposing at Harnett’s Funeral Home Abbeyfeale Wednesday evening from 6.00 o’clock followed by removal at 8.00 o’clock to Church of the Assumption Abbeyfeale. Requiem Mass Thursday at 11.00 o’clock. Funeral afterwards to Reilig Íde Naofa. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to Milford Care Centre.
